Clearwater Restaurants

While the city’s public beach is its top attraction, the mainland offers visitors many things to do. Watch the Philadelphia Phillies during spring training, discover nature at Moccasin Lake Nature Park or bike, jog or skate on Pinellas Trail. Enjoy a performance at Ruth Eckerd Hall or check out waterfront Coachman Park, home to Jazz Holiday. Shoppers head for Northwood Plaza or Westfield Countryside Shopping Mall. Take to the golf course year-round. Disc golf anyone? Nearby, find Caladesi Island, a top U.S. beach, only accessible by ferryboat. Find hotels on U.S. Highway 19 and at Feather Sound. Restaurants are plentiful, especially brand names.

Always Busy
Situated across from Westfield Mall (formerly Countryside Mall), the location is convenient to find. If the world is in a recession, you wouldn't know it by going here.

As they don't take reservations, its standing room only for anyone arriving at 6:15 p.m. on a Saturday night. The bar and high top tables in that area are all filled. This is peak time. Come later and seats are more readily available.

A selection of seafood items can be ordered in full or half-size portions and the half-size portions are more than plentiful for those who eat food in moderation. The trout, grouper and peach-bourbon BBQ shrimp and scallops were all appetizing.

Dinner drinks and desserts total $118 for four.
