The Antique Auto Museum displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique scenes and settings. Visitors are transported through eight decades from the early 1900s through the 1970s, while traveling from New York to San Francisco. In the summertime, Hersheypark combines an amusement park with a trip to the beach - The Boardwalk at Hersheypark. The latter is a tribute to the legendary beaches of the northeast: Atlantic City, New Jersey; Coney Island, New York; Ocean City, Maryland; and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Park highlights include longtime favorites Roller Soaker - that enables riders to dump up to four gallons of water on spectators below, who in turn can drench riders with large sprayers - and Tidal Force, one of the tallest splash-down rides in the world - guaranteed to get participants drenched. Bayside Pier offers plenty of wave action. Coastline Plunge features four slides, while East Coast Waterworks has water toys, slides, buckets and bridges. A surf and surfing experience, The Shore, a nearly 378,000-gallon wave pool, simulates ocean's currents. The Intracoastal Waterway is a lazy river that allows guests to float along on rafts. Canyon River Rapids is a four-minute white-water adventure that winds through five acres of canyon walls and waterfalls. Guests see if they've got what it takes to catch a wave at Waverider. Sandcastle Cove is for younger guests. Cabana rentals are available to those desiring a drier outing.
