The strenuous 1.5-mile climb (a gain of 1,000 feet in elevation) on a paved path leads to the cave entrance and offers incredible views of American Fork Canyon. Temperatures on the hike can reach 100 degrees during the summer, contrasting to 45 degrees inside year round. Note: tour tickets sell out quickly on weekends and holidays.
