The Burke Museum contains exhibits about dinosaurs, fossils and cultures of the Pacific Rim, as well as the bones of the Kennewick man, one of the oldest and most complete skeletons found in the Americas. While the museum has a collection of dinosaur skeletons, its real treasures are its Indian artifacts, especially the collection of hand-carved cedar canoes and totem poles. It also houses the university's fine art show space.
