Housed on the eastern edge of Chinatown, this former warehouse, designed by renowned architect Frank O. Gehry, was renovated and now displays a portion of the Museum of Contemporary Art’s (MOCA’s)* permanent collection. Tours showcase work of art in exhibitions. (*see separate listing)

Directions
From the San Fernando Valley/Hollywood, take U.S. Highway 101 (Hollywood Freeway) south and take the W. Temple St. exit and at the end of the ramp, turn left. Travel to E. Temple St. and N. Alameda St. and make a right. Travel to E. First St. and turn right again. At N. Central Ave., turn right.

From Pasadena, take State Highway 110 (Pasadena Freeway) south and merge on U.S. Highway 101 (Hollywood Freeway) south. Exit N. Alameda St./Union Station. Stay right and merge on E. Commercial St. At N. Alameda St., turn left and travel to E. First St. Turn right and travel to N. Central Ave.; turn right.

From Long Beach, take Interstate 710 (I-710)/(Long Beach Freeway) north and merge on Interstate 5 (I-5)/(Santa Ana Freeway) north and then merge on U.S. Highway 101 (Santa Ana Freeway/Hollywood Freeway) north. Exit N. Alameda St. and turn left (south) on N. Alameda St. At E. First St., turn right and then at N. Central Ave., turn right again.

From Orange County, take Interstate 5 (I-5)/(Santa Ana Freeway) north and merge on U.S. Highway 101 (Santa Ana Freeway/Hollywood Freeway) north. Exit N. Alameda St. and turn left (south) on N. Alameda St. At E. First St., turn right and then at N. Central Ave., turn right again.

From Riverside/San Bernardino, take the Interstate 10 (I-10)/(San Bernadino Freeway) west and merge on U.S. Highway 101 (Santa Ana Freeway/Hollywood Freeway) north. Exit N. Alameda St. and turn left (south) on N. Alameda St. At E. First St., turn right and then at N. Central Ave., turn right again.

From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), take Interstate 105 (I-105)/(Century Freeway) east and merge on Interstate 110 (I-110)/(Harbor Freeway) and then merge on Interstate 10 (I-10)/(Santa Monica Freeway/San Bernadino Freeway) east. Exit N. Alameda St./Union Station. Stay right and merge on E. Commercial St. At N. Alameda St., turn left and travel to E. First St. Turn right and travel to N. Central Ave.; turn right.

From Santa Monica/Westside, take Interstate 10 (I-10)/(Santa Monica Freeway/San Bernadino Freeway) east and exit N. Alameda St. and turn left on N. Alameda St. At E. First St., turn left.

From Sunset Blvd. travel east; it becomes W. Cesar Chavez Blvd. near Interstate 110 (I-110)/(Harbor Freeway)/State Highway 110 (Pasadena Freeway) At N. Grand Ave., turn right and travel to W. First St. and make a left. Travel to E. First St. and at N. Central Ave., turn left.

From Beverly Blvd. travel east; it becomes with W. First St. near Glendale Blvd. Travel east on W. First St. to E. First St. and N. Central Ave. and turn left.
