Things to Do in Kissimmee

Located just beyond Orlando’s Disney and Lake Buena Vista areas, Kissimmee offers visitors value accommodations – hotels and motels - within easy reach. Off its main thoroughfare find the departure point for early morning balloon rides, the spring training complex for the Houston Astros, Old Town with shops and entertainment, themed dinner shows and the road to airboat rides, plus a variety of restaurants. While the attractions may not be as picture perfect as the major theme parks, they offer family friendly things to do – mini-golf, horseback riding, ziplining through a nature preserve, golf and go-karts, among others.
