The 160-acre rescue zoo provides rescue and rehabilitation of indigenous wildlife threatened by habitat loss and degrading native ecosystems. Additionally, it provides permanent placement of wildlife in need - those that cannot be released into the wild. Many of the zoo’s residents are exotic animals that were once family pets.
