Children are invited to participate in interactive environments: a Native American tipi, a one-quarter-scale prairie schooner, a build-a-town table, and a 1920s auto-touring campsite.

      <title>Lincoln Children&#039;s Museum</title>

      <description>A delightful destination where children are invited to create, discover and learn, while along the way building, dancing, playing, climbing, singing and laughing. With 45,500 square feet on three-floors, it is filled with hands-on exhibits and imaginative programming. One-day camps are offered. 

The museum is the first green building in the city of Lincoln.

      <title>Folsom Children&#039;s Zoo</title>

      <title>Governor&#039;s Mansion</title>

      <description>Built in 1958, the 31-room Georgian-colonial home has been the governor&#039;s mansion since that time. A renovation project modernized the home during the late 1990s, followed by a landscape update. This home replaced a previous residence occupied since 1899.

      <title>Great Plains Art Museum</title>

      <description>The museum houses the Great Plains Art Collection - the original Christlieb Collection of western art and library of western Americana with artwork by Albert Bierstadt, William de la Montagne Cary, Robert F. Complementing this are the Broder Collection of 20th-century Native American paintings, the Lane Collection of western fiction and history, and the Regina Collection of Canadian plains literature.

      <title>Hyde Observatory</title>

      <description>This educational center, built and operated solely by volunteers, strives to bring the world of astronomy to those who visit.

Between the evening&#039;s 20-minute programs, guests are invited to view the solar system through an eight-inch, 12-inch and 14.5-inch telescope and a solar telescope. One of the programs highlights is the current season&#039;s constellation. 

Hours: April to September, Saturday, sunset to 11:00 p.m., October to March, Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Free.
